What is Integrated Locking IEC320-C13?

The locking C13 receptacle does away with wire clips or bulky guides. C14 plugs are held secure with the built in clips molded into the actual receptacle.

This is an exclusive feature available only from BayTech.

Are all BayTech strips fitted with the locking C13.

At this time the C13L is only available if requested. Becuase the extra hold strenght of our normal C13 receptacle some customers have chosen not to install this option.

Is a special tool required to remove the C14 Plug ?

No, originally there was, however we went back to our supplier and asked for a different material that was not as rigid as the original.

Does this receptacle increase cost or lead time of orders?

No to both, we stock the locking receptacle just as we do the non-locking.
