Today, with networks showing up on plant floors, customers are becoming more and more interested in collecting data over their networks. BayTech meets these requirements by allowing a networked computer to Telnet or open a Windows Socket to an internal network card, and, in turn&emdash; to send commands for distribution of the collected data.

BayTech offers two different lines of products for automatic data collection applications. These are the H-Series multiport controllers and the M-Series DAC. Both provide for serial data collection. However, the M-Series provides much more robust methods to accomplish your mission by allowing you to collect data over a network, program port names, and add program control to the data collection application.
