50 years of BayTech

Bay Technical Associates, Inc. is a USA-based power distribution solutions manufacturer founded in 1976 to develop and produce specialized data collection and communications products. All products are designed, engineered, manufactured, and tested in our 120,000 square foot facility in Long Beach, Mississippi.

In 1996, BayTech introduced the first managed and controlled power strip. Our innovation continued by introducing the first metered power strips, power strips with external environmental sensor support, multiphase power strips, metered outlet power strips, modular power strips and the first ZeroU power strip with redundant inputs.

Today, BayTech is celebrating our 50th year in business and with over 1,000,000 PDU combinations, we now focus on selling a core 3,000 standard part numbers of basic, smart, and redundant PDUs into the datacenter market. Additionally, we continue to evolve our automatic transfer switches, and remote site managed devices.

All components we sell are at the rack/cabinet level. Our technology allows you to remotely track power consumption, reboot equipment, and monitor environmental factors.
